Construction
These guitars are built one at a time by hand. They are constructed with tone and playability as the number one goal. Finishes are thin and hardware is light in order to achieve a fast fundamental. Old-School set neck construction and single action truss rods, along with an aluminum wraparound tailpiece, generate the sustain. Necks are carved to a 50’s soft V to C profile. They are carved by hand and typical measurements are .850 at first fret to .950 at 12th. They are comfortable and don’t have too much shoulder as some necks do. Peghead design allows for straight string pull so tuning is stable. Peghead angle is 12°. The standard pickup configuration is Alnico IV Humbucker in the bridge position and a 5% underwound Alnico IV P90 in the neck position. Pickup options and configurations are limitless (Please inquire). My guitars are typically understated as far as finish goes, but please inquire if you want something special or over the top. We can do burst, candies, or metal flakes for an additional charge.
