I developed a deep love of music and visual arts as a child growing up in Mississippi. It is a State with a rich heritage of artists. It was probably early television footage of B.B. King and Chuck Berry that pushed me to learn to play and cemented my love of the guitar forever.

In 1997, I began my life’s work of building and repairing fretted instruments. The insight gained through repairing countless instruments, both vintage and modern, has proved invaluable in the design, testing, and construction of my own guitars. I hope you will find these to be inspiring and beautiful tools, built with an emphasis on tone, playability, and consistency.
